Rediscovering the Cross of Changes

Thoughts rush by me as I walk on my way
Through the old dusty paths and the valleys of green.
I stare down the reflection on the field of clay
Making my fears and painful memories unseen.
Questions and cries have plagued this teen
While the birds flutter and the skies shine.
It is all captivating, this beautiful and inspirational scene.
Is this my faith trying to realign?
The candles flickers while I drink the wine
While the heavenly skies perform the cosmic dance.
I finally rejoice with the rest of the fruit of the vine
And by the starry heavens, they make me entrance.
The Creator has taken my soul through the celestial mountain ranges,
And, with His power and beauty, made me see again the cross of changes.
