People think that computers can destroy the human intellect,
Dominate professions and occupation that have been always human
And make us hooked to a box of light, blinding and eye killing,
Making our fingers cramped, bent and twisted by the complexities of a symbol pad.
Making our minds hypnotized by the ridgedness and precision of a silicon brain.
Can the computer mean end to the human civilization?
Will the intelligence and thinking that God gave, be dictated by two-bit languages?
Will the definition of humanity be changed to add a computer and all attachments?
The computer has not [yet] dominated or destroyed or severely altered [us].
The computer has aided the advancement and growth of the human evolution.
Nature and man and machine can work for the Spaceship Earth and not against it.
Those sound cards and graphics can broaden the imagination of the arts.
Using colors that were never used before, and making anything possible.
Sounds and samplers that could make Romanticism more abstract than before.
Writings made clear and communicating symbolic and verbal ideas easier.
The book can be judged by the content, not the appallness of one’s handwriting.
An Interactive Global Village is becoming more and more a reality.
People, originally separated by boundaries and natural obstacles…
…Now close to each other like family and suburban neighbors are.
Hopefully, the computer will make lives and progress of man better than before.
To see, read, hear, know and experience new things and … who knows?
